Ocean View 2 Bedroom Condo- Sleeps 6! Palace 1407

A spacious apartment with a view of the ocean. The biggest highlight was definitely the location and the view. The oceanfront balcony offered beautiful views both during the day and at night, and the beach access was convenient. The pool area and outdoor space was also enjoyable when they were available.

Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the apartment was disappointing, especially considering the price and the expectation for a holiday stay. When we arrived, there was sand throughout the floors, making it feel like the unit hadn't been thoroughly cleaned before check-in. Even more concerning, we found clothing that had clearly been left behind by previous guests behind the mattress and under the living room table. That made us question how carefully the apartment had been cleaned between stays. When asked the hosts insisted it was cleaned but I still question that. There was also police activity outside one of the neighboring hotels(a murder) during our stay, which was unexpected and a little unsettling, although that obviously isn't something the host can necessarily control. We were told in a pre check message from the host to make sure we try out the brand new restaurant and bar on site… arrived to find said resturaunt completely under construction with no estimated opening date. For paying over 3,000 for our stay we expected the amenities to be as described by the host and they were not. The saunas were closed for the entirety of our stay, the indoor hot tub was closed for the entire stay and 2 days during our stay the larger pool was closed.
