This flat is tiny, and in a great area. It is quiet yet close to all amenities. The building is next to the Placa de Republica; a sort of town square and the area around it has a small-town feel.
The flat was the bachelor at the top of the complex. Tiny. The shower and bath were great. One warning - this is the roof/attic room, so plenty of angles and low ceilings. You will bump your head once or twice.
Electric heating, so it was cozy when you needed to warm it up. A hint for those coming in the colder months. You don't need to heat on all the time. It seems to capture heat and hold it from the lower apartments. Only in the evening do you need to warm it up before you go to bed for an hour.

- Clear instructions to find the apartment
- Great location close to subway and bus stations but not overfilled with tourists
- Nice view
- A bottle of wine as a gift (I don’t drink though)
- Oil, coffee grounds and some basics for cooking would’ve been great
- Smaller than on the pictures
- Unstable internet connection, keeps disconnecting
- No garbage recycling bins
- Low ceiling, I’m only 1.70m but couldn’t stand up straight
- Leaking shower, water throughout the whole bathroom, no proper bathroom mat
- Very small fridge and no proper freezer
- Thin walls. You’ll hear everything your neighbours are saying and doing
- Strong disgusting smell of mould and sewage, it was really bad
- They ask you to hang your towels to dry but provide no hooks or a towel rack. Only got 2 thin towels and they were wet during all 4 days
- The sponge they left me to wash my dishes was so old and disgusting that I bought new ones
- My pillows and my sheets had short dark hairs all over them. I’m pretty sure they weren’t changed or cleaned properly
- 250€ security deposit is way too much for a place like this. I also can’t find any information about the deposit that I’ve received before my booking, not through messages and not through the site of the apartment. I was only faced with this during the online check in where I had to authorise my credit card.
