Shorthorn Cottage

Apart from the small roads it was perfect for our stay/get together. The kitchen was fully stocked with all that we needed to cook. Everywhere was nice and clean, a very homely space. The owners left a basket with tea, coffee and chocolate drinks and milk in the fridge. nice touch.

The Fridge/freezers doors were the wrong way round, you had to squeeze your fingers down the side beside the wall to open them. Please get them fitted the other way, easily done. The mattress's on the beds were not good, one of the beds in the attic space the slats kept moving around and we had to use the other bed. It could also have done with hooks behind the doors, for dressing gowns etc. Perhaps more none stick pans and wooden spoons in the kitchen.

We had a lovely stay at the cottage. I booked it to spend time with family in the nights leading up to my wedding. I also got ready there on the morning of my wedding and it was perfect! The cottage is so pretty and very well equipped. The garden was lovely and great for my one year old son to run about in. We went on a few walks but mostly enjoyed relaxing and playing games at the cottage. It was very clean and the beds were comfortable.

Nothing, we had a great stay.

Very spacious. Had everything that we needed. Very clean.

There were 2 hooks in the fireplace wall which we felt were a hazard with young children.
