We would have moved immediately but had no transport (using uber) and a person in a wheelchair.

The staff were happy and the fridge was clean, and the bed was comfy

While showering I stood on a large crack in the plastic shower floor that pinched my foot. The bathroom floor had a crack in the tiles and the grouting on the walls had mold on them. In the kitchen area the microwave was so high I needed a chair to reach it. On looking inside of the microwave, it hadn't been cleaned prior to our arrival. The window blind was very dirty. I asked at the office for a dish cloth, and was given, to use, a hand towel with a stain on it. Later I realised the pillow didn't have a pillow slip so asked the cleaner for one.

Great room, location, but the rubbish next to reception was not a good first impression on me.

The area near the reception there was stuff on the lawn and the lawn needed mowing. Maybe there were doing renovations to one of the rooms?

Staff were lovely but unfortunately the unit was so awful that I couldn't bring myself to stay there. Terribly smell

Lovely staff

The unit was run down and was extremely smelly. Stained carpets and just gross all round. I felt like I didn't want to touch anything. Tried to get past the smell etc but it was so bad that I ended up leaving and didn't stay at all.

It is centrally- located, has good parking and most importantly, it is pet-friendly.

Last year when we stayed here the nightly fee included pets. This year there was an additional $20 ‘cleaning fee’ for the dog’s presence. This was not mentioned on the booking site when I made the reservation.

Modern room close to city good for short stay.

Large room (queen and a single) that had been recently refurbished. The room, bathroom and kitchenette were all very clean and the bed very comfortable. The bathroom had a backlit led mirror light that provided an alternate soft light at night and helped with shaving and makeup application in the day. The room had the largest smart tv I've had in any motel/hotel and a reverse cycle aircon. Kitchenette had cooktop and microwave, it was small but contained all the basics, extra point for the small smart bin that auto opened the lid by waving your foot or hand above the sensor. Good quality curtains, blocked out light for a restful sleep and blocking the heat. Location is handy, directly across the road from bus route 70 for easy city access - 10 min bus ride. The staff member that assisted us at check in and throughout out our stay was extremley polite, friendly and helpful.

Bathroom was a little small but well appointed. Frosted glass front door adjoining large window made it a little awkward to close curtain when locking leaving premises (we preferred frosted door covered when going out).

These rooms are incredibly well appointed. Kitchenette, comfortable beds, and nice natural light. Very convenient to both the airport and downtown.

The driveway/entry looks a bit shabby, but don’t let that fool. You – the rooms are exceptionally clean and everything works as it should.

Great location for concerts at Spark Arena.

Lack of milk for hot drinks. 6 little long life milk container holding 2 teaspoons of milk in each = 60 mls of milk. Not very generous. A small (250ml) bottle which could be washed and refilled between customers as at other motels do would be much better.

Lovely suites with wonderful staff!

Ray was so patient and accommodating when our arrival time was very late due to delayed flights. He kindly gave a detailed description of how to find my way to my room. The room was clean and tidy with all i needed for my stay. Was a good location for all I was doing in Auckland. Would happily stay again! Thank you for a lovely stay!

I wish they gave extra flannels so you didn't need to ask for a complete changeover just to get a clean flannel.

Recommended to other travels and patients of Southern Cross Hospital

Stayed here for my son's surgery at Southern Cross Hospital Auckland Surgical Centre. Easy 2 to 3 minute drive to the hospital in good traffic. Staff was incredibly helpful offering advise on local grocery and food outlets and estimated travel, even helping with my luggage on departure. The room was very clean and comfortable and suited our needs perfectly. Would definitely recommend.

I liked the clean, homely room. Was a nice room for our family. We were also able to check in earlier, so we had plenty of time to get to our event at Eden Park.

The stairs, carrying luggage to and from the room LOL I know to get a downstairs room next time.
