Il Grillo sull'Olivo

Il Grillo is located within an historic ex-monastery building and occupies part of the ground floor and cellar. The location is superb as all the amenities within the building. We shared access to a pool and bathing area, but there were few other residents staying at this time. All the rooms were comfy and well equipped and the bathroom was very clean with a super shower. Outside the apartment there are 2 private seating areas for meal and wine! The location is brilliant for exploring northern Tuscany and within easy reach of many beach clubs etc would recommend trips to Lucca, Pietrasanta, and Camaiore in particular. The host Massimo could not have been more helpful and friendly…lovely guy.

Nothing to dislike! Access is via a steep single track road so decent tyres and brakes are useful!
