La Roca House

L'emplacement est parfait, à côté de l'océan et pas trop loin du centre de El Valle à pied si besoin L'hostel est très bien entretenu, propre et le propriétaire et sa compagne sont des gens supers, sociables et très sympathique. Le bar de la Roca house sur la plage a 20 secondes du logement est aussi très appréciable !

L’ambiance de lieu avec accès direct à la plage et au terrain de volley. Petite cabane perchée avec une vue incroyable !

We (a couple) stayed for 10 days with Duber and Clem. Their house is beautiful, and both of them are very welcoming. Since it’s a small hostel, you feel like part of the family. The beach is just 30 meters away, and when we were there, we were often alone on it. In the evening, you can enjoy a drink at Duber’s bar right in front of the hostel. We loved our stay (we initially planned to stay only three days!). They can organize many activities for and with you, such as surfing, boat trips around the island with fishing, beach lunches, snorkeling, scuba diving, and even baby turtle releases. I highly recommend this place, and we hope to be back soon 😍

Roca House is a very simple and basic place, offering just the essentials for survive in Bahía Solano. The girls who run it are welcoming and kind, which makes the experience warmer. Just be ready — you’re not only close to nature, you are in nature — so expect a rustic stay with all the sounds and elements that come with it. It works well if you want a practical base to explore the area, but it’s not for travelers looking for comfort or amenities.

I understand this is a rustic hotel with only basic necessities, but that doesn’t mean cleanliness should be overlooked. The bathroom was quite dirty and disorganized, and the kitchen, while very basic, wasn’t well equipped or properly clean.
