Perfecte locatie midden in het centrum van Taormina. Overal dichtbij. Het appartement is ruim genoeg voor 2 personen. Er zijn twee badkamers, dat is wel heel fijn. Lekker licht met sfeervolle luiken.

Elke ochtend wordt het afval opgehaald, dat hoor je goed. Maar daarna sliepen we nog even door.

I stayed at Maria's apartment for 3 nights in October and had a fabulous time! Maria met me at the arrival to hand over the keys and give me a little tour around the property. She was very kind and helpful and easy to communicate via WhatsApp (just a note that I was translating my messages into Italian for smoother communication). The apartment itself is fabulous, very well equipped, with 2 bathrooms, comfortable bed and full functioning kitchen. I particularly loved going up to the rooftop terrace which was just a few steps up from the apartment. The views from the terrace were wonderful for the entire Taormina. The ensuite bathroom was very spacious, bright and super clean. The main bedroom very comfortable and spacious. The location of the apartment was fantastic, right next door to famous Bam Bar, 6min walk to the main piazza and 8min walk to the main Bus terminal. I highly recommend.

I read in some other reviews that there is glass collection at 6:30am in the morning, and sadly that was the case during my stay, which woke me up suddenly twice, however I ended up using earplugs which I think it helped. Also, I think the apartment would benefit with having a washing machine, there is space for it in the utility room in the ensuite bathroom, so perhaps something for the owners to consider for longer stays.

The apartment was just right for the 2 of us and with the luxury of 2 bathrooms. Very effective air conditioning and the kitchenette had everything we needed. Spotless throughout and Giorgio and Maria are lovely hosts. The roof terrace has a panoramic view which includes the sea, the town and Etna. Location is excellent, a few yards away from everything so whether you want to sightsee, find food (in our case as Coeliacs, excellent gluten free choices everywhere) or just wander along the pretty streets, it’s literally on the doorstep, with the cable car to the beach also 5 minutes walk away.
