Casa Margherita

The room, bathroom and entire property were spotless, the bed was very comfortable with nice linens. Mirko and his wife Daniella were very attentive and welcoming to my husband and me after a long flight from Phoenix Arizona to Milan and the drive to their lovely home. The breakfast was excellent and the kitchen was well appointed. Although Mirko doesn’t speak much English, we were still able to have a lovely conversation upon arrival, at breakfast each morning and the morning of our departure. We were also able to store medication and ice packs for my husband’s medication in the refrigerator and freezer with 24 hour access. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful with both sweet and savory choices, 4 juices, unlimited tea and coffee. The coffee machine was available 24 hours a day, and he even filled my thermos cup with coffee for our long drive to Mont Blanc and Geneva upon our departure. The location was breathtaking with lovely views and a scenic drive. Parking onsite was a huge plus. He gave us tips on restaurants and other places on the area to visit as well.

Merko was excellent in his service! We love our stay in this beautiful place! So relaxing and peaceful here! We love the breakfast from this place and highly recommend it!

The most wonderful and friendly hosts, the house is in a beautiful setting and we would have stayed a little longer but were compromised by the Giro d Italia passing through.
