Booked this hotel because it was close to Bourbon street (an easy walk) and priced right through ***. I was looking for a nicer boutique hotel not from the big chains. It met those desires well.
What I don’t enjoy is that the pictures are WAY brighter than the actual dimly lit hotel. Everything from the entrance to the halls and rooms was poorly lit even during the day. The room was oddly shaped and very small (thanks to how the broke up the old building), although the bed furnishings was nice quality. The door mechanism also worked intermittently making getting into the room frustrating (handle worked from inside 100% of the time).
It wasn’t a bad hotel and never unsafe or unclean, but it definitely did not match the description and pictures they use for their image. For a similar price there are other options I will consider next time.

We had a great quick visit to this hotel; parking is a few blocks away and we used a parking app to only pay $26 for a weeknight. There’s free coffee and tea in the lobby. We didn’t try the restaurant next-door; room is nice and updated. Staff was friendly and location was great.

We found this hotel and thought the deal was too good to be true. It was not.
We loved the location, steps away from the action in the French Quarter and 2 blocks from Caesar’s Palace and Canal St.
Great looking building, clean and looks like it’s been well maintained. Nice art gallery and restaurant attached.
We had a quaint little room in what locals say could be a haunted hotel. We didn’t experience anything out of the ordinary, but it was a quiet hotel, no partying, no loud music.
The front desk staff was fantastic. Room was clean and even though we had no shower gel they quickly remediated everything.
Highly recommended.
