The hotel supplies hot water for tea or hot chocolate at all times, plus all plates, bowls, mugs, and silverware, and with a fridge and microwave in the room, it was very easy to prepare simple meals there. It's an easy walk to Main Street or to the Peak 8 gondola.

No staff at check-in. Had to call for key packet. Toilet was noisy due to consistent running water. Called to get it fixed which could not be done. Switched rooms. Staff seemed very indifferent and uncaring for our situation. I will not be returning to this business.

I'd suggest you check the toilet hardware in Suite #1, it ran all the time, and I had to use the shut off value to have a quiet night.

Cute bed and breakfast vibe and good location, but the rooms were literally 80 degrees without a way to control the temp, there wasn’t staff on site after 4 so if you needed something you were SOL. We got zero sleep because the other guests were up hanging out all night and it was very loud because it is an old house so we could hear everything. Overall, disappointing experience and would not stay here again.

Wonderful property. The original Breckenridge boutique hotel. Small number (9-10?) of rooms/suites distributed across upper 2 floors of 3 story building. Rooms are large, clean, comfortable. Great bed, cable TV & streaming, Common area & kitchen with free 24 hr tea, hot chocolate, water, instant oatmeal. Locally-roasted coffee is in each room. Hot tub, workout room, ski/snowboard storage room on site. 20 ft outside the back door is an elevated trail that you can use to ski to town. Free ride shuttle stop that takes you to peaks 7 & 8 is 50 yards away from the front door. No onsite restaurant, but there are many within a 10 min walk. Staff were friendly, unobtrusive, and attentive. Quiet hrs from 10 pm - 6 am were respected. For Breckenridge, peak season, the price was right. Great stay!

I recently stayed at one of the oldest boutique hotels in Breckenridge, and while the experience had its charms, it was a mixed bag overall. What I Loved: • Historical Charm: The hotel’s history and vintage feel were very cool and added a unique touch to the stay. • Great Location: Perfectly situated, making it easy to explore Breckenridge’s attractions. • Cleanliness: The hotel was small, cute, and very clean, which I appreciated. • Affordability: The price was reasonable for both the location and quality offered. What Could Be Improved: • Outdated Décor: While charming, some areas could use a modern update to enhance comfort and aesthetics. • Self-Serve Experience: There was no one at the front desk when I arrived or departed, which felt odd. It was essentially a self-service hotel, and while it worked, it lacked the personal touch. Overall, this hotel is a good choice if you’re looking for a quaint, affordable stay in a prime location and don’t mind a more independent, hands-off experience. It’s a charming option for history lovers but could benefit from a bit more modernization and guest interaction.

Such a charming place. The check-in process was super easy. It was super comfortable and cozy and the room was very clean. The hottub was awesome and very clean. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated and it overall felt more like a charming B&B. Very quick walk to town and ski in which is awesome. We will definitely be back! Thank you

Property was close to town and accessible. Bed was comfortable and the heated floors were nice. Unfortunately, upon check in it was difficult to park because the parking lot hadn’t been plowed/shoveled. Even my SUV was struggling to get into the driveway. I had to end up shoveling a pathway for me to park. This is absolutely something that maintenance or property owners should be responsible for, and not the guest. It was taken care of the next day, but just not the welcome I was hoping for. I ended up having to Uber/Lyft into town a couple of times because I was concerned my vehicle wouldn’t be able to get in and out of the parking lot and driveway. Everything else was fine.

the room came with a filtered bottle of water humidifier and white noise maker which we really liked! We got in late and went past the motel twice looking for it. The sign and lighting is poor. The shower with it's step UP feather should have a grab bar for safety. The stay was enjoyable and very welcome after a long day.
