    -Booked a ride from the airport to A-hotel. Gave all my flight details and they said ok. I was told the price, I said ok. They told me to confirm, I did. They reacted to the message with a heart. Then upon arrival, there was no car/van. -I messaged the hotel, no response. - I called the hotel to say that I was checking in and that my ride hadn't shown up. Their response: So? - I explained I booked with them and confirmed and there was no ride. They told me up wait and hung up. After 10-15 minutes they sent me a driver's contact info and told me to deal with it on my own. -I ended up just taking a grab. - Mistakes happen, but the terrible communication, lack of ownership and the fact that I didn't get any kind of apology expect "we apologize for the inconvenience" upon my arrival was extremely unprofessional. -The place itself is ok. Small, kind of clean room. Hot shower. Miniscule breakfast. Loud hallways with people that don't know how to shut doors quietly and other idiots that didn't pay attention to the instructions about how to let yourself in after hours and rang the doorbell all night. -Not a ton of great options on Semporna, but I will DEFINITELY pick some place else next time and would NOT recommend this up any traveler.

    The kids absolutely love this hotel, especially the One Piece comics and the themed rooms. Staying by the sea really sets the mood, doesn't it? Ever since they stayed here for one night, the kids have embarked on their One Piece journey. They can slowly watch over 1,000 episodes. Here's a little suggestion. It would be even more perfect if the bed sheet in one of the rooms could also be changed to a One Piece theme.

    Breakfast was very basic and there isn't enough room to sit. They have only big table in the (tiny) common area which seats 6 and the hotel has 12 rooms- you do the maths! The offering was toast and boiled eggs but both were on limited supply. We asked for more egges at 7:30 (breakfast was until 8) and were told no. Room was ok, clean enough with balcony to dry clothes. 10 minutes walk to the jetty.
