Winterhaus Lodge

Second time I've stayed - it's a typical ski lodge, comfortable and well-managed. Appreciate the included breakfast!

Great hosts, accomodating, good breakfast.

The room was clean and warm, beds were comfortable with crispy clean linen, the shared bathroom was extremely clean and the shower was fantastic. The drying room and ski/board locker was more than satisfactory and on site parking was convenient also the included buffet breakfast was really nice and all staff were friendly and helpful with the owner/manager and his partner/wife being fantastic hosts.

This hotel is the cheapest (booked a double decker room) I found in the area and I'm really surprised that it is very clean, very comfortable and warm inside the room, the toilet and shower with their warm tiles. Even if I share toilet and shower, it felt like it's my own and it remains clean and dry during my stay. The entertainment room and dining area was all excellent! The fireplace, the bar area with clean wine glasses...i felt really spoiled. They even have daily cooked breakfast for FREE on top of the continental breakfast. I do not have anything bad to say with this property with a very accommodating and approachable owner. I highly recommend this property and if I come back again at Thredbo, this is where I will be staying. I find it rare nowadays to have this kind of service without paying too much money.
