Xuux Peek Hotel Ecoturístico

I can't say enough wonderful things about this place. It is a multi-acre compound with so many wonderful things to see and do, in addition to a spotless, very comfortable room with great dark out curtains and a very nice attached patio. We were amazed by the 3 cenotes on the property, the Mayan ruins (that has been partially rebuilt), the many walking paths that are wide and very well marked. They communicated with me on Whatsapp and sent photos of the entrance off the road so that there could be no misunderstanding. We loved it. So many birds in the morning. We figured on 30 different species on my husband's phone app. Off the beaten path somewhat and just delightful. Book it!!

This place is beautiful! Appears to be very new and well done. Cenote on the property was gorgeous and we were the only two in it when we went. Pool was lovely and clean. Forest was also really beautiful. Would definitely go out of our way to stay here again!

We chose Xuux Peek primarily as a way to break up the drive back from Merida to Cancun Airport for a noon flight, but with the hopes of a night of serenity to ease us out of our 10-day trip. I found other reviews to be helpful and accurate... the fully covered senote was amazing and felt like walking onto a set of Mandalorian - BUT not swimmable. The other open one, clearly being styled for possible events, was beautiful and small but swimmable, but mostly what felt like a "watering hole." The Cenote / Pool Combo was great for our 6 and 9 year olds. Both Cenotes very worth the visit, but get your rope swinging and cliff diving in at other cenotes. But this were perfect for a late afternoon cooldown. The rooms were very clean and the property was serene. The staff was helpful. It really seems that the property is designed to be great for those just trying to get a way , but also for larger groups that might want a yoga retreat or similar. Due to the toll road, there can be some backtracking, but it wasn't bad. There was "ok" pizza that delivered, but otherwise, plan to drive 10-20 minutes to a nearby village for meals. Would stay again!!
