My wife and I traveled there for three nights recently in September 2025. The lodge is being transitioned to a Jumeirah property currently and I’m sure will be amazing when renovated . The lodge itself is not being affected nor the game drives. The property is amazing, the game drives were fantastic and the food was excellent. I can’t seay enough good things about the property, yes, the rooms may be showing their age, but our room was way above what we expected and very nice. The staff was very pleasant, very welcoming and overall fantastic. Our Rangers/guide was Garrick and our tracker was Medete(?spelling, sorry). We saw the big five, we were in a vehicle with four other people, so six of us total. They were very knowledgeable, when on the way to try to find us things and yes, we did see a leopard on our last day. We also saw numerous lions, Elephant, cheetah, hyena, and all sorts of bird species. It was a fantastic time. I’d love to go back.
