The staff service was incredible! They provided an orientation not only to the Riad, but to the city. The front desk staff went above and beyond to help us find the perfect spice shop. The breakfast was also delicious and large. The hammam spa was also a must-not-miss experience!

The hotel was fine, but I'll share what I would have wanted to know before booking here. This place is located in the old Medina, a pedestrian zone. It was not my best moment when the taxi driver told me to get off and to walk to my final destination at 2 am. The porters outside were rude, pushy, and clearly trying to take advantage of us. They aggressively asked which hotel we were staying at so they could carry our luggage with their carts and then expect whatever tip they felt was appropriate. I chose not to let them handle our bags. Unfortunately, walking to the hotel with our luggage was not easy because the area is pedestrian-only. The hotel itself is small but very charming. Our room was located in the central courtyard, although it required climbing a narrow spiral staircase. Fortunately, a hotel staff member took care of our luggage. The room was beautiful, decorated with many Moroccan-inspired details. The furniture and doors gave it a distinctive oriental character that made the atmosphere very special. The air conditioning worked well, and the bathroom was spacious and comfortable. My only disappointments were that the bed was not very comfortable—the mattress seemed quite old—and the towels had an unpleasant odor. Breakfast was truly outstanding. Both the food and the service were absolutely delicious, and it was one of the highlights of our stay. On the day of our departure, the hotel kindly allowed us a late check-out until 1:00 p.m.

Beautiful riad in an unbeatable location. The staff is lovely and kind. Delicious breakfast with lots of local delicacies. Rooms are very well decorated. And the hammam, massage and pool are a must. Highly recommend!

I have never been happier to review a hotel! We absolutely LOVED our time here. Not only is the Riad Kaiss absolutely charming, but the 5-star attention to detail and us as guests could not be better. With only 9 rooms on site, the staff get to know you as you come and go. Our junior suite, #6, was absolutely charming and looked over the garden. The breakfasts were beautiful and plentiful with freshly squeezed juice, homemade breads, yogurts and jams, and veggie egg scrambles and omelettes at our request. The Riad somehow manages to offer peacefulness and calm within the walls while being in the midst of the energetic Medina markets, restaurants and shops. We enjoyed a hammam and massage, and can enthusiastically recommend both, then carried the relaxation into the evening by enjoying dinner in the garden. The food was beautiful and delicious and our waiter instinctively knew how to pace our meal. The final thoughtful touch was a bag with fruit and sandwiches as we checked out, because they know "food is not often served on flights."
