    This place is nice but not even close to worth the price. The bed is so hard, and came as 2 tiny twin beds so my husband and I had to squish to avoid sleeping in separate beds. The private onsen in our room was too small to fit my 6 foot husband and I so there wasn’t really a point to us paying a premium for a private onsen in the room. The food, while displayed stunningly, was not very good and too weird for us to enjoy. The staff were beyond nice and polite and the historic onsen in the sister hotel that you have access to was beautiful but overall, we did not feel that this hotel was worth the price.
