B&B Ca' Viro was a truly great find. We arrived by bus (from Sondrio train station) which dropped us right outside the front door - all for the measly sum of €2 each.
Our room was wonderful and better than expected. The bathroom was very clean and the shower was excellent. The grounds are a sight to see and our room was only 50 metres from a path along the river which provided some great walks.
Breakfast the nect morning was amazing!! So much choice and all was wonderful. When it was time to leave, we noted that a bus was not due for quite some time, so we are asked Roberto, the manager, to call us a taxi to take us and our cases to Sondrio station. He said, "No need for a taxi - my wife is going shopping and she will drop you at the station". Not only did she drop us at the station, but it turns out she did so on her birthday!!.
We cannot recommend this fabulous gem enough: the hotel and its facilities were first class and Roberto and his wife were friendly, attentive hosts who went way beyond what was expected.

This B&B is a gem! Beautiful location, rooms very clean, and the staff / owner were awesome. The details in the room (hair dryer, lots of organized space for your stuff), waters, and breakfast were all really great.
