Quarto Verde Apartments

We really enjoyed our stay at Quarto Verde apartments. The apartment was very clean and had decent amenities. The location is in a quiet residential area of Bergamo, about 10 mins walk from the main train station area. It seemed to us that there were quite a lot of 'elderly' potentially permanent residents staying at Quarto Verde, which was unusual from the usual accommodations we stay in for city breaks, but we had no problem with that and i think those guests with their demeanour, doggy companions added a certain calm, relaxed atmosphere to the place. Staff were all fine and the coffee bar, seating area, wall pictures, displayed items eg: old style cinema camera added further interest to the place. Il Gigante supermarket 5 mins walk away which was helpful and there were a few nearby restaurants that the staff were able to recommend and direct us to ( Picollo is literally round the corner about 100metres from the apartments.

I had a fantastic stay! The apartment was very clean, spacious, and in a great location. Everything was within easy walking distance. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

Great stay!

Very spacious and comfortable apartment with a balcony. It was actually part of a retirement complex and very nice too with a cafe, restaurant and leisure activities. We didn’t use the pool as unfortunately it was closed for maintenance when we visited. If we had more time, we would have tried out the restaurant as it looked a very reasonable 15E for the set menu. Arriving by train it was just one stop on the metro or about 20 mins walk to the bottom of the old town.
