My impression is that this refurbished historic motel from the mid-20th century is owner operated. Plainly the staff try very hard to give you a good experience.
This said, the room stank of disinfectant, so badly that I had to open all the windows for a hour or two to clear the room.
Also the property backs against train tracks, which are in use. Otherwise fine.

No chance of beating the price for the overall stay. I saved about 400.00 over two nights by staying there instead of a major hotel downtown. Plus, it’s not too bad of a ride to get downtown for other food options outside of the ones right next to the motel. Friendly staff, good experience, solid overall stay. Would stay again.
