    The hotel is located at wonderful location. Nearby night market is there. Kata noi and Kata beach is located 5 min walk from the hotel. The staff is friendly.

    I have stayed in several three-star hotels at the same price—or even cheaper—and unfortunately, my experience at ibis Phuket Kata was very disappointing. Whenever I asked the staff for assistance, I was repeatedly told, “This is a self-service hotel.” This was unexpected because it was not clearly mentioned in the hotel description when I booked. It was never about the money; it was about the lack of hospitality. Instead of feeling welcomed as a guest, I often felt like asking for even basic assistance was an inconvenience. The room felt more like a dorm room than a hotel room, and the bathroom was poorly ventilated, which made it uncomfortable. Breakfast was another disappointment. The selection was extremely limited, with only around five to seven dishes available. For the price, I expected a much better variety and overall experience. Unfortunately, this stay did not meet my expectations, and I would not choose to stay here again.

    I stayed at this property in Jan 26. The property was in okay shape. Getting housekeeping to come clean the room was at times difficult. Breakfast was mediocre to poor. Pool was nice, if not exactly inspiring. The main issue is that the property was surprisingly far from the beach as it's not possible to walk through the Club med that sits on the beach. Reasonably close to the night market and other attractions, though.
