The staff, service and food here were really on the ball. Timely, friendly and with tasty tuck. Problems were dealt with promptly and the use of WhatsApp was very handy to communicate with reception. And on that basis it is recommended, however…
…the beach is an ecological disaster zone! I have never seen so much rubbish piled up on the sand that wasn’t actually in a refuse tip.
I was also not overly excited to see the poor monkeys, rabbits, ostriches and other animals detained in small cages of barren paddocks as some sort of menagerie. I understood the purpose behind the tortoise hatchery, but why the need to house these other creatures?
Overall the place had a bit of a “Fall Out” vibe. It was largely deserted during our stay, but apparently gets busy at the weekend. And the main pool had rather greenish tinge to it, which wasn’t confidence inspiring.
