We usually stay here for a week over Christmas every year. To be honest, the spa facilities and the hotel itself are not bad at all however we have had a few issues over recent stays. Namely a billing issue between the hotel and Expedia itself which took an entire afternoon of our visit to resolve. I would recommend that the newer side of the hotel is the nicer one for rooms. The food is nice, the bar area is lovely. Half board is usually on offer for a stay, which includes a multi-course evening meal. All in all, it’s a reliably good hotel.

Management was not to be seen. A lot of undertrained staff. The main hotel is in very poor condition and needs major renovations. Hygiene can be seriously improved. The new section of the hotel with a spa and the restaurant is on the other side of the street. In the main building, there is no possibility to have tea or coffee, not in the room and not in the foyer. Good things: lots of dogs, food, Anjelika did a great job in the spa, and Vlad with Jürgen rescued the service. Convienient location.

The place is nice for a family holiday. I went there knowingly although I was on a business trip but had to book in the last minute and didn't have a lot of options. A lot of activity going on, which is nice but noisy if you are not a parttaker.

Beautiful creek side gateway to forest just below granite peaks. Restaurant is good. Setting is as close as one can imagine to be heavenly. Weather was great so that helped.

Was well greeted on checkin. Though I don't speak German all the staff made a top effort in trying to understand my attempts. The hotel was clean and easy to navigate around. Restaurant food was fantastic and the buffet breakfast was more than adequate. I can't wait to come back.

I stayed a few days in the hotel. The concept and idea is good but the service and the general maintenance is far away what you expect from a 4 star hotel. So, overall I can not recommend this hotel. The room was nice but only suitable for young and healthy people (very low bed). Restaurant looks fancy but it attracts you only the first evening and then you miss some cosy things - to cold, to stylish and again lack of maintenance. Food is ok.
