The little guy was so cute and exactly as advertised. Check in was fast and easy. The shared shower and toilet block wasn’t as far away as I thought. It was all very clean and always available when needed. Great view from the hut too.

Hlid Hut was an amazing stay. Spectacular views, comfortable huts that were warmer than I expected.
Facilities were the best of any campsite we've ever stayed at. The shower was the best we had of any camp & of many hotels.

Was nice that it was so close to the lake and other sights. Beds and hut were comfortable and clean and bathrooms and showers were clean. The common kitchen area was nice with all you need but busy and toaster only one side worked. Some dining options were available and decent convenience store nearby. Was the second highest price spot we stayed on the ring road so felt a little high for a hut 300 feet from the bathroom. Also, you can get breakfast but it costs $35 each!!

Although the room clean & warm. Quite poor for the cost. Toilets showers are across the main road. The ocean is way in front of a lava field
