Charming and lovely. Right on the ocean. But really right on the ocean. Comfortable bed. Good fans - we were there in April and it was cooling. Note - they have wooden shutters instead of doors - so you can hear e crashing of the waves. I loved it - but it’s quite intense. My partner couldn’t sleep. So - if you’re sensitive maybe bring good ear defenders. But otherwise, cute and lovely and the town is small enough for the location to be good. And you’re not plagued by blasting music from surrounding late night parties

Absolutely perfect stay!!
The place is a gorgeous rustic-chic mini oasis.
The staff is kind, caring and attentive without being weird or pushy. Perfect balance.
The ocean breeze is glorious and cuts the heat that's present in town - it also seems to ward off the mosquitoes which are quite rampant in the town - I didn't notice any at the property.
Food is truly excellent (but don't let that stop you from going to town for an empanada, but otherwise you'll be happy staying and eating at Makao.
Really really loved this spot - one of the best of all my travels. Hope to be back soon!!!

8 min walk to 6th street if you cross the beach, 15 if you walk the roads. Delicious food (better i think then Paulina which everyone raves about) made to order fresh breakfast, awesome staff. The only think they need to work on is the hot water, it is not always working but even with that I loved the stay and would choose again when I return to palomino
