    Most unfriendly, unaccommodating and incompetent staff. They charge us so much money for making us feel as if they are doing us a favour. Would never come back here.

    The hotel is located high up the mountain at Gora, if you want privacy during your stay, this is your choice. Room is very good with private outdoor bath, recommend to get high level room so you have a great view down the valley. Kaiseki dinner was great, staff was super friendly. Hotel has provide freeflow alcohol and all you can eat snacks at the lounge area from morning to night time. Excellent for relaxation and enjoy a few days away from the busy Tokyo city centre.

    Such a lovely hotel, and the staff were very helpful especially in the restaurant which made it such a memorable occasion for us. Sheer luxury with your own private onsen. Highly recommend if you are able to afford it.

    - food is terrible, no guest request is respected - no daylight in the areas where you hang out (lobby & guest lounge) - guest lounge closed half of the day with no other place to hang out or eat during the day - very strict breakfast times instead of just going - set menu with no flexibility - not good for vegetarians - when you ask for more fruits they say it’s not possible - only green tea at breakfast, no other options Overall it’s totally overpaid for ***/night what you get. I would never go again and I regret coming here for this price. Book a western hotel, at least they understand what customer service means.
