This was our 5th time visiting Siquijor, and over the years we’ve tried a variety of accommodations around the island. Yet somehow, we always find ourselves coming back to The Bruce Beach Resort — and this was already our 3rd stay here. I can confidently say that it has been the best choice so far in terms of location and value for money. We always book the beachfront rooms, and waking up to the beautiful, clean beach right outside our doorstep is something we never get tired of. One thing to note is that if you want to enjoy the waves, it’s best to head out early because after around 7 AM, the tide goes out and the water becomes quite far from shore. But honestly, that’s just the nature of the beach and didn’t take away from our experience at all. What truly makes this place special is the people. The staff have always been amazing — from the front desk team, to the security guards, and the restaurant staff. Every interaction we had was pleasant, warm, and accommodating. We’ve stayed here multiple times now and have consistently received excellent service. The resort itself has everything you need for a comfortable stay: a swimming pool, a restaurant, a secure environment, and fully equipped rooms with a kitchenette. The swimming pool was a huge plus for our family and was perfect for our kids and for anyone who simply wanted to take a refreshing dip and relax. The rooms come with utensils, plates, glasses, a rice cooker, water heater, refrigerator, induction cooker, and more — perfect for longer stays or families who prefer preparing their own meals. The hot and cold shower is also a big plus. Thank you, The Bruce and all your staff, for always giving us wonderful memories in Siquijor. We look forward to coming back again soon!

What a lovely stay we had at The Bruce Resort. Want to recognize the whole staff for their warm hospitality and kind smiles. It was nice to always be greeted by the security guards as well on entry and exit. Special mention to our driver Jubin, Ken for helping with our wifi, and Lady Mae at the front desk for helping smooth over our welcome. While the pool was under maintenance, and unable to be used, the team made sure we were aware in advance. That level of awareness did not go unnoticed. WiFi can be spotty at times but the front desk helped settle that for us. All in all, a lovely stay.

It's bit worn, but right on the beach & roomy. The three times I sat down at the restaurant, the 5 waitresses on duty ignored me, and talked amongst themselves at the bar, checking their phones, and there was no other guests there, I was the only customer. Whenever I dialed up room service, they were quick with a bucket of ice. Aside from the unmotivated waitstaff, it was a decent place to stay. Travel hack: sleep here and pay for day use at Coco Grove Resort a mile down the beach, eat at their very nice restaurant beach it at that property, go back after sunset and crash at The Bruce.....save *** a nt!
