    The best accommodation we stayed in on our 12 day tour of the North island. Very friendly staff and lovely location. I would highly recommend staying this hotel .

    - Great owner who responded promptly. - All Paintings and artifacts were placed upside down by a previous guest when we arrived. Staff should've checked this before we got there. - TV remote missing 1 battery - Smart TV wasnt smart at all. Sky TV app wasn't working due to wifi errors. No channels were tuned or working so we had to screen share from mobiles for it to work. Frustrating trying to sort that. - I straightened my hair in the bathroom and the smoke alarms went off so had to do it by the verandah. - just a few annoying things we didn't need on the one night our family stayed there. - I'd rate this apartment 3.5/5

    The place and location is good and would recommend. However, there are funny noises coming from the basement and from the heater as well.
