Holiday Inn Express And Suites Green River By IHG

Simply impeccable! Who would expect to find such an oasis in the middle of almost desert country? I could easily live here for a month :) The hotel is modern, both inside and out. It's clear that it's quite new. The decorations are very nice and the floors are different colours in front of the elevators. Everything is clean. Our room was very large and comfortable. One set of pillowcases had 'soft' embroidered on them and the other set had 'firm'. Perhaps this is standard practice for this hotel chain, but in any case, I was thrilled. The air conditioning was managed through the wall panel and worked like a charm, though it was noisy. I would like to see air conditioning with a whisper mode, which is suitable for sleeping (19–21 dB). There was no ventilation in the bathroom, but it was written that it goes in silent mode all the time. However, after showering, for example, we could not see how this could work, as the fog just stayed there until we opened the doors to the room. There are two types of windows blinds. One type does not let light through, while the other is a "night and day" blind. These let light through, but you cannot see inside from outside. It's the little touches like this that make an ordinary stay more comfortable. Breakfast was also a category or two better than in ordinary hotels – I loved the traditional cinnamon rolls. This is something lacking in other hotels: constant attendance by staff to clean desks and restock items. The staff were really nice. Online check-in and check-out are possible. When I checked in online, I only went to the reception counter to pick up the key cards. One unexpected highlight that I have never seen during my ten-plus road trips in the USA is the complimentary guest laundry! It's simply amazing. Since the hotel is quite new, the washing and drying machines are also new and look clean inside (have you ever looked inside the drying machines in hotels?). For someone who is on a road trip and sleeping in a different motel almost every day, it's important to keep to the planned budget, so we have to choose where to stay very rationally. However, this hotel was on our route and wasn't overly expensive. The location is great for driving up to an hour to various national or state parks or natural beauty spots around Hanksville. There is easy access to the I-70 highway just minutes away. The car park was full of truck cabs, but there were still plenty of spaces for cars. The hotel has several entrances, which makes it easier for guests with a lot of luggage.

Holiday inn always has a nice breakfast and indoor pool. It's preferred over most others for us

Very clean and comfortable stay. We stayed in two King bed suite and it was very comfortable for 3 adults. Breakfast was good, staff was friendly. Highly recommend

Room was clean and big. Breakfast was the best we had in this US road trip - microwave breakfast wraps, eggs and patties. Everything was nice except when the receptionist took my card and explicitly said it was for incidental charges only, but then immediately charged me $50 for deposit. I would prefer to have cash as deposit cause then I know for sure I would get it back when i check out. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay.
