My stay at Holiday Inn Antalya was deeply disappointing. The hotel charges premium rates, but the condition of the property and the standard of service fall far below what anyone should reasonably expect for the price. From the moment I checked in, one of the hotel’s two lifts was out of service, leaving only one lift operational for the entire hotel. The working lift was old and extremely slow, and waiting 10–15 minutes just to go up or down became a regular occurrence. More broadly, the hotel’s infrastructure feels tired and badly in need of renovation. The food was also considerably overpriced. On one occasion, I ordered food from outside, only to be told when collecting it that outside deliveries were forbidden. When I asked why, I was told that the rule was for guests’ safety. As an adult paying to stay at the hotel, I found this explanation patronizing and the restriction unreasonable. The pool facilities were equally disappointing. The pool is very small, and the staff were neither helpful nor welcoming. When I requested towels, I was told to go down two floors and collect them from the spa. After going there, I found no staff available to assist me. What happened while I was looking for the towels was particularly unacceptable. My two young children were showering after using the pool. When I returned to the pool floor, I found them standing alone by the lift. The staff member had apparently told them rudely, “Get out, it’s closed,” without checking where their parent was or ensuring that they were safely reunited with me. They are young children who do not know how to navigate an unfamiliar hotel and could easily have become lost. Asking children to leave in this manner and leaving them alone near the lift showed an alarming lack of care and basic judgment. The experience with the hotel’s private beach was no better. The shuttle operates at inconvenient times, so I arranged and paid for my own taxi. Before leaving, reception specifically told me that towels would be provided at the beach upon showing my room key card. When I arrived, the beach staff refused to provide them. I called the hotel, only to be told that there had been a “miscommunication” and that towels could not be provided after all. I was left at the beach without the basic arrangements the hotel itself had promised. The location is fine, but that is one of the few positives I can mention. Overall, the hotel is dated, the facilities are inadequate, the staff are often rude and unhelpful, and communication between the hotel and its beach facility is extremely poor. Considering the amount I paid, this was exceptionally poor value for money. I would not stay here again and cannot recommend it, particularly to families travelling with children.

Brilliant team, home like services and communication. My son is enjoying every one from the staff. Crazily warm welcome: came with a broken shoe the reception representative asked for a technician to come and fix it literally within a minute! This is our second time: first time came with my 6 months child and it was the best choice :family friendly and the facilities are built for everything you need with the kid including a little pool for kids. Now we are 3.5 and we can nut ve happier. The best beach ever. I don’t know why people even mention about the flights, not even a tiny sound even when we see the plane flying and we are in the 9th floor. Please do not look further. This is our home when we are in Antalya from now on, and we strongly recommend it considering we’ve seen some horrible hotels in turkey pretending to be 4 or 5 stars whilst not even a 3 even if it’s a resort. But here you will be impressed, feel soooo comfortable that you forget about everything but just joy of the holiday: 3 minutes to the beach by the hotel shuttle or a taxi (150 tl max) and oh my God they have a literally a healer on the site in the Spa saloon. You won’t find a masseuse like Silly not even in Thailand, certainly didn’t meet anyone even close to her skills to understand what’s happening to your body and how to heal it even with the one massage in London. Strongly recommend *****
