Kimpton Brice Hotel by IHG

We had such a wonderful experience at the Kimpton Brice Savannah with our Bernese Mountain dog. The hotel is dog friendly and it made our experience even better. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The food at the restaurant was delicious and very friendly to people with dietary restrictions. The location is great - we walked everywhere and our dog enjoyed the surrounding parks. We Will definitely stay here again.

The front desk staff was incredible and extremely accommodating throughout our stay. They were welcoming, professional, and made the check-in process smooth and enjoyable. Unfortunately, the valet service provided by PMC was a significant disappointment. As a former manager for PMC, I am very familiar with the company’s policies, training standards, and service expectations. When we arrived, the valet attendant simply stood at the podium and shouted, “Are you checking in?” There was no greeting, no door assistance, no welcoming attitude, and no effort to provide the level of service PMC typically expects from its employees. For a service costing over $50 per night, I would expect at least the basics: opening doors, greeting guests, and providing a friendly, professional first impression. Instead, it felt like we were doing everything ourselves. The hotel staff exceeded expectations, but the valet experience was far below both PMC’s standards and what guests should reasonably expect for the price.

The hotel is a nice hotel. The staff were friendly. My only issue is that I reserved a king room and after checking in I was given a double room. I went back to ask why I wasn’t given my king room and was told that all the air conditioners in the king rooms were being fixed. Which is something that should have been told to me at check in. My husband is a tall and big man and a full bed just doesn’t work but we had no choice but to deal with it as it was a holiday weekend. Then as we were checking out I noticed that house keeping were cleaning rooms that other guest were checking out of and they were king rooms so that really made me mad. I said something when checking out and was given just an apology.

Another wonderful stay at the Brice Kimpton. It doesn’t make sense to stay anywhere else when traveling with pets. Staff is so helpful and friendly. The amenities are terrific and the sitting spaces are inviting. Will definitely be returning.
