    We loved the town of amasya with its lovely mosque a d historic poetic tombs. Such a lovely town in a gorge with river flowing by. Our hotel was in a great spot in a renovated old house along the river. We had a large room at the front of the house which we liked as it was cooler and quieter than the river side I would think. You have to like firm beds though and I would say breakfast is adequate not generous but the hot rolls with walnuts in were great. The hotel was happy to offer to change us to a Riverside room after 1 night, and we're friendly. No English spoken

    The location of the hotel was great. All major tourist sites were within walking distance. The area is lively despite amsya being quite a small city. We loved it there

    Excellent position on the river with an easy walk into the town centre. Access to the hotel road with a car is restricted to midnight until 10am. Forget breakfast - go elsewhere. The riverside balcony is mostly occupied by the air-conditioning unit. Paper cups for tea/coffee and no glasses in the room. Overall, huge potential unrealised.
