We had an absolutely wonderful time at Hotel Bineri. From the moment we arrived, the whole household was incredibly helpful and welcoming. They were so hospitable—taking the time to show us around, share the fascinating history of Gjirokastër, and even give us tips on the best places to visit (and a few to avoid).
The property itself is beautiful, full of authentic charm that reflects the city’s character, yet with all the modern comforts you could want. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and had breathtaking views over the historic town.
Breakfast was delicious every morning, with fresh local products and plenty of variety. The location is perfect—right in the heart of the old town, making it easy to explore the cobblestone streets, traditional houses, and the historic castle.
This was truly one of the best places we’ve ever stayed. We left with great memories and can’t wait to return. Highly recommend Hotel Bineri to anyone visiting Gjirokastër!

It was the best hotel in Albania. The owner, Antonio, was so accommodating and helpul.it was spotless and beautiful views. Perfect location and the restaurant was amazing!

Lovely, comfortable, well priced hotel in the heart of Gjirokastër.
We really enjoyed our brief stay and were made very welcome and appreciated by th staff. Antoni, in particular was helpful, understanding and generous and this made our time even more rewarding.
Thoroughly recommend this hotel and the delightful people working there.
