So the location to this hostel is a 10/10! So many markets, restaurants and everything you need close by. The staff at reception was helpful and very friendly. HOWEVER, this pictures advertised vs reality was disappointing. There were no hamaks, and very little space to chill. The female only dorm was OK. Comfy bed but stained sheets. The girls in my dorm made my stay there really nice and at ease. It was an OK room, very spacious. No privacy or individual lights so that's a bummer, there is only the room light so it's all on or all off. There are also NO shelves or hooks for your stuff, like none. Despite multiple reviews suggesting hooks, there are still no place to hang your towels or dry your bathing suits and outside is forbidden. A few things I recommend the hostel to work on. Other then that, it was a nice stay !

Good location but the male staff there is impatient and arrogant. He is a bad service provider who is lazy, thoughtless and bias.

If you’re looking for a peaceful, restorative place to land, this is not it. The moment you walk in, you’re hit with loud music blasting through the space like you’re stepping into some kind of low-budget plastic beach club. It’s more of a party zone than a real healing sanctuary. They have a waterfall and pool that reeks of chlorine… again more toxicity! These people don’t know there are 20 different healthy ways to keep swimming water clean. Then they slap a plastic wristband on you at check-in and expect you to wear it at all times, like you’re at some all-inclusive resort—only there’s no luxury, just noise and confusion. The rooms are suffocated with this overwhelmingly artificial lemon-scented chemical they plug into the walls. It’s not refreshing. It’s nauseating. The pillows, sheets, even the walls carry that same toxic bathroom cleaner smell. Within minutes, I had a headache that wouldn’t go away. To make it worse, the place has toxic florescent lights that make you sick and is swarming with mosquitoes. And the energy? It’s off. Not just loud but tense, like nobody’s grounded. The man running it seems completely out of it—like he’s high or checked out emotionally. He puts on a fake smile and says he cares, but it’s clear he’s just going through the motions. There’s no genuine presence, no warmth. The only saving grace? A couple of massage beds and a few hammocks. But honestly, even those couldn’t save the vibe. If you’re looking for peace, deep rest, or even just a good night’s sleep, keep moving. This place isn’t it.
