    Premises were clean, breakfast was a little above your average continental breakfast with plenty of seating, rooms clean/well kept. Good parking, location is close to many places, including Katy Mills Mall. The indoor pool had very cold water so we couldn't swim at all. There is a pool table in the front of the lobby; bring your chalk/baby powder if you like to play as there isn't any available and the pool sticks aren't very good.

    The rooms were not clean, smelled of smoke in a “non-smoking” room. There was paint missing off the walls in the bathroom and room. The “free” breakfast was dirty with community everything Hand written signs on the breakfast foods that were wrong. There were no workers at the front desk when we arrived and checked out. When I did ring the bell to get a worker to come up - she was too busy eating her McDonalds and talking on her AirPod. Not sure how this hotel has “won awards” very trashy and not worth the money. Gross. Will not book with any La Quinta hotel again.
