Amazing stay!!! As two English only speakers the staff were wonderful with trying to accommodate and communicate with us. The lady at the front desk who was short with short hair was so kind to us. The property is amazing and the traditional Japanese room was fabulous. Love the stay. Public bath was a unique and clean experience, dinner and breakfast were included! Would definitely return.

Overall the stay was good. The room did not have a shower or bath and I realized it after booking a room “with toilet”. The concept seems that they rely on people going to the public bath located on the first floor and seventh floor for showering and bath. There is a room without toilet, too. So, be sure to select a room with a toilet and shower box if you can. The location is 22 minutes by foot from Awa Kamogawa Station, but you can simply take a cab, about 650 to 850 yen.
Breakfast add-on is great if you like lots of choices of Japanese food. Make sure to add it when booking as it is much more expensive to add on at the hotel.
