    If you’re on a budget maybe consider staying here but I would recommend looking elsewhere. We were recommended this hotel by family friends, but we didn’t have a good experience overall. The bed sheets and linen smell musky and I don’t think they are cleaned very well, and there was a lot of dirt under the beds in the rooms. The room we stayed in needs a serious makeover, and was infested with mosquitoes. Even when we kept the doors and bathroom window closed, we would be bitten alive every single night by the many mosquitoes. We raised these issues with reception but nothing was done. Most of the staff act interested in the guests but as soon as you ask them for help with something, they don’t care. We gave up trying to get issues resolved. On one occasion, I asked someone on reception where the local gym was, and they told me to just look outside. Not really the service you expect from a hotel reception, but that’s the service you get at Pine Hill.

    This is a pleasant family-run hotel, and my room was lovely, clean, and comfortable. The staff were also helpful with carrying suitcases on arrival and departure, which was appreciated. However, there are several areas that require improvement. I stayed on the top floor, and as there is no lift, it was quite difficult having to constantly walk up and down the stairs. This also appeared challenging for staff members assisting guests with luggage. The breakfast selection could benefit from greater variety, and unfortunately, I noticed mould on some of the bread, which was concerning. In addition, most staff members did not speak English, and service was not always attentive. Wi-Fi was unavailable on the top floor, meaning I had to go downstairs whenever I needed internet access. There was also no way to contact reception directly from the room, so I had to walk downstairs for any queries or in the event of an emergency, which was very inconvenient. These are the key areas that I believe need immediate attention and improvement.
