    Everything’s good but the saggy bed

    This happened to us and others. Their favorite thing to tell people is, “we’re sorry but…” (the room you already paid for) is not available. First they mention “engineering” and then when pressed, admit they oversell their inventory. “We will take care of you tomorrow” and then do it to you again the next day. The next day I am mad. The guest agent walks in the back to send the “supervisor“ out to tell me I’m screwed. When I refuse to leave they finally send the manager out and she takes me up to a water view room and says, “just like your room.” And you can’t have this room, tubs reserved, (as if that means anything at this establishment). Um, no. We go to our room and then I show her our room has an ugly view of parking lots. Half the building has really awful views by the way. She then says “I’ll go get a cart” and all of a sudden the “reserved room” was available to us. Parking is a real screw here. $62 valet, self park nearby is designed to maximally screw hotel guests. If you park before 2am, you pay $36 until 5am and then the clock starts and by 8am it’s another $36. Breakfast buffet is dreadful. Try staying at the Omni or the Westin. This place sucks.

    Two nights upon arrival in Boston. A lovely hotel with spacious room, comfortable bed and excellent staff. Breakfast was one of the better included breakfasts I have had. Location was nice, area is quite walkable however is just outside of main city area. Will definitely come back here again.
