    The room was cute, clean and practical. Has a traditional hotel feel and decor. However, every single day, our card stopped working and we had to go down stairs to get the card reset. The lifts take a long time to go between floors, and I really needed to use the bathroom one afternoon and had to run around getting my card reset. The location is also not great, especially given the bad traffic in Ulaanbaatar. Expect a 45 minute walk to Sukhbaatar Square, or a 40 minute rideshare.

    Staff if horrible. This lady promised to pack my breakfast because I was leaving very early in the morning. So many flights leave Ulaanbaatar early in the morning and the hotel couldn't accommodate this request for a simple breakfast of maybe bread, cake, fruit, water? The worse thing was actually when she said okay, she would look into this but when I checked out the next morning, she said no. What a laughing stock. The room is so tiny you barely have space to even open your luggage fully. Toilet is so small you can't shower without spraying water outside the bathtub. And like many Japanese hotel, they do not make up your rooms. Laundry service is present but you basically need to fight with everyone else for access to them because there are only two washing machines and two dryers. Breakfast is mediocre. I have seen better Toyoko brands in Japan. Location wise, it is quite far away from the city centre. Not worth the price you are paying. Giving sub-standard products and services but charging Japanese exorbitant price. Verdict is that you should choose other hotels. Bayangol Hotel is older but better.
