Agave Santorini Design Boutique Hotel

There was no staff or reception. Its self check in. Great place. Very clean. Amazing view. Felt very happy there. However when I was leaving at 0500 in the morning I found there was only a trickle coming out of the shower and no warm water from the shower or tap! I was in a rush to catch my plane so nothing could be done. 30min walk to fira bus station where the buses are very on time leaving to the airport. Bus ride is only 10 mins. 2 hours walk to Oia if you are interested in hiking. Buses are only 2 euro no matter where you go on the island. Its awesome!

The room was the perfect size for one or two people who will be out exploring the island each day. Bed was lovely and comfortable, plenty of space for my suitcases and a stunning view.

The ocean view was gorgeous. This room was okay, the bathroom was not good. The shower was not a pleasant experience and the area was shared with the toilet. It was rather smelly from its inability to be aired out - no windows and no fan. It was a bit musty smelling. In addition, there is a balcony but not private and no lounge chairs - very uncomfortable after a bit. To access any lounge area, you are expected to pay €70 at another neighboring hotel. This information is not given to you until you check in at the room. The area where the room is located only had very expensive dining options and most of the restaurants seemed quite pretentious. The area is not an easy place to access beaches or much shopping. Also, there are no staff at the property and we had to download all of our personal passport information on email prior to check in - not a warm reception. We won’t be back - this property did not meet our expectations.
