Bathroom door only open if you lifted handle one way, toilet wouldn’t flush, shower shelf looked to have mold on it. Never again will I stay here especially after requesting to have the toilet fixed and nothing was done.

Room had no running toilet and I was basically told told bad because there was no maintenance there and no rooms. So 4 ppl in one room with no running toilet. Also no working tv. What a joke. I spoke with an agent the day I checked out (11/2) and was told I’d get an email follow up and still have not received anything.

We gave Candlewood more chances than they deserved. In 4 reservations there, (two trips a few years apart) they got our prepaid reservation right. The first time, we got the right room, but the stove didn't work. They sent us to another room that was 1/2 the size without adequate sleeping arrangements. We cooked dinner in that suite - had to clean it and then went through the halls with our dinner to go back to the first room to eat and sleep. Yet, we decide to give them another chance one this trip. Sorry to say it was no better. On this trip, both times we arrived to check in with our prepaid reservation, they didn't have an appropriate room for us and there was nowhere for us to sleep. We ended up scrambling to find a room in another hotel. They only refunded ONE night of our reservation. (we paid for two in total this trip) The desk clerk was unwilling to spend 2 minutes on a computer so we Might be able to get our money back on the second night. The experience they put us through is definitely not what Anyone would want to ruin their vacation with.

Staff were not friendly & did not prioritize the fact that our room had a NONWORKING TOILET! It did not flush & water ran continuously. After 2 calls to the front desk hours apart & nothing being done, I called IHG and notified Expedia. They moved us to another room that was already occupied, as evidenced by the man sleeping in the bed upon us opening the room door. Staff response to situation was ridiculous! We sat in lobby with our things for an hour until they finally cleaned another room for us. All the while we missed some of the wedding events that we were in town for and spent so much money on. I was so upset. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!

The hotel didn’t have a room available for me when I arrived so they had to find a room. They tried to say that I didn’t place an order for a room for 2 people. Then during the stay the power went out and my Mom who is handicapped had to walk down 4 floors.

A/C, heating unit in my room wasn’t working at all. Room was very noisy as it was right next a main road and interstate. Difficult to sleep. Maybe if I had a working HVAC unit I wouldn’t have noticed it as much. Rooms are dated. Especially for the price. Room was very clean. Staff very professional and friendly. Parking was convenient.

The room booked was not available at check-in due to the hotel having had to move another guest. The gal at the front desk was super friendly, apologetic, and set us up with another equally acceptable room. She, and the clerk on duty at check-out in the morning were very pleasant and efficient in their role. Room was very clean and comfortable. We were disappointed the coffee service in lobby in the morning was not available as the machine was out of order. We would stay again.

Front desk was very helpful. However, was charged for a nights stay even though the locks to the room didnt work and we left after 4 hours when we found out. We had to leave due to no security to our room. Could push the door right open. The hotel knows this is an issue. Stay away if possible.

There where a few cosmetic issues in my room ( porcelain lid to the toilet tank had a large chunk out of it exposing the water in the refill tank) but nothing that I would say that would prevent me from staying here again. House keepers only come every 7 days so basically if you’re there for less than that you won’t see a house keeper and no they won’t even take the trash outside your door. Staff was friendly though. Not sure if it was because I was on the 4th floor towards the end but had cold showers every morning for the first 3. The front desk attended said to let the hot water run for 15 min in the morning before getting in the shower. That helped but wound up turning on the shower, the bathroom faucet and the kitchen faucet and got hot water after about 10-15 minutes. Stayed 11 nights. Was told when I checked in that seeing that I was staying so long housekeeping would not come until the 7th day but if I needed fresh linens to go to the front desk. Was there 11 nights never received housekeeping services. Being there 11 nights it was nice ti be able to cook dinner every night and not have to eat out every meal. When I checked in there was nobody that could speak English at the desk. I waited at least 5 minutes before someone came in that could handle getting me checked in. Also there apparently rooms are not made up every day (they said weekly)_ I either missed this notice when making my reservation or Expedia did not show this in the listing. Had I undersatood this I would have made another choice.
