A favourite place to stay in Rawai / Nai Harn area. We had a pool access room and enjoyed our morning and evening dips. Lots of top restaurants nearby, and a cafe' on site. Previously he we've had the tiger room and the chicken room, this time the mouse room. Rooms very well equipped and spacious. Will not break the budget. Very highly recommended.

We stayed for three nights and, while our room was reasonably spacious, the experience overall was disappointing. The shower was particularly sub-par — hot water ran out quickly, and the water sprayed all over the bathroom floor despite the shower curtain. Much of the room, including the curtains and their hangings, looked old, worn, and dusty. One of the stranger policies involved the books kept at reception. They’re all donated or left behind by previous guests, yet the hotel catalogues them and treats them as their own collection, which means you can’t swap or take one with you. It was a bit sad for us, as my 12-year-old got halfway through a novel and had to leave it behind. We also had an uncomfortable situation at checkout. The hotel attempted to charge us for a missing towel, even though housekeeping had removed it the previous day during cleaning. They track the towels closely — four white and four brown — and one day we were only given three white replacements. Because of this, staff actually searched through our suitcases before allowing us to leave. It was a very odd and unpleasant experience. Location-wise, be prepared: the property is far from all tourist areas — beaches, Old Town, restaurants, markets, everything. Unless you have your own transportation, you will be relying on taxis constantly, which becomes frustrating and adds up quickly. Overall, I can’t recommend this hotel, especially for families or travellers hoping for convenience. You’re much better off staying closer to one of the many beautiful beaches, where you’ll find far better access to activities, food, and everything that makes the area enjoyable.
