A short distance from snowboarding, snowmobiling, and more, this smoke-free chalet lets you experience it all. Hakuba Ski Jumping Stadium is just steps away and Hakuba Art Museum is within an easy 7-minute walk, so leave your car at the property, which offers onsite parking.

Once you get back, you can enjoy your surroundings with the yard and charcoal grill. When you come inside, connect to the free WiFi or get cozy in front of the digital TV (streaming services available).

We stayed at Prominence near the start of spring. During this time, many shops, restaurants, and cafés were either closed for the season, closed early, or had limited seating. Many bar-style eateries were also not very welcoming to families with children. In hindsight, it might have been better to stay in the Happo-One area, as it was the only ski resort still open for the remainder of the spring season. That said, the accommodation itself was beautifully modern and spacious. The kitchen was well-equipped — especially appreciated was the microwave oven. The apartment was clean and well-maintained, with daily servicing that included emptying the large rubbish bin. We also found the dry room, washing machine, and dryer extremely useful. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend it!
