It's definitely a treat for me to stay at YWCA Vancouver. The hotel is better than what I expected, clean and well located, with amazingly friendly and helpful hotel staffs. Absolutely had a wonderful stay at the hotel and would surely recommend to others when visiting the city.

Absolutely loved are stay.. people are welcoming and inviting, the rooms were clean.. loved the complimentary coffee in the morning. Only constructive criticism was having to share the bathroom with are neighbors considering the cost I paid for the room. Other then that no complaints

I stayed here 5 years ago and the rooms were a little nicer. That’s not to say they aren’t now, they are just more basic and the soundproofing is virtually nonexistent but they are very clean. Check in staff were very un engaging however the housekeeping staff were nice. The biggest issue was the price - over £200 per night for a basic hostel type room (albeit private) It seemed a few things were going on that weekend in Vancouver hence the rate hike but this price is unacceptable for a hotel of this type. The average rate is £80 per night and is definitely not worth more than that.

The staff at the front desk were all very helpful, and knew the local community well. Rooms are small, but good value because t6he rates are very reasonable. And the hotel is close to downtown, Chinatown, and a Skytrain station.
