    Richmond Hotel Himeji is conveniently located very close to Himeji Station, on the quieter south side of the station area. Since it’s surrounded by a residential neighborhood, the atmosphere is calm and peaceful, which made the stay very relaxing. The downside is that there are fewer dinner options nearby compared to the busier north side of the station. Still, the hotel maintains Richmond’s consistently excellent service quality, which always leaves a good impression. One feature I really appreciated was the afternoon tea service. From 2 PM to 8 PM, guests can enjoy complimentary drinks from the beverage machine, which was a nice touch after a day of sightseeing. The room was surprisingly spacious, and because the hotel had been recently renovated, everything felt very clean and comfortable. I also liked the room layout — the sink was placed outside the bathroom area, while the toilet and bath were separated, making the space more convenient to use. Overall, it’s a great option for travelers looking for a quiet, clean, and comfortable stay near Himeji Station.
