The Walnut Tree is the finest example of a superb family-run hotel and has the highest standards across all its services. I received a lovely welcome at check-in and was shown to my room (rather than being directed) and given a summary of services and mealtimes.
I was there for 3 nights and had dinner on 2 of them. Credit to the team of chefs for beautiful food and a well thought menu.
Parking is plentiful and felt secure and despite my room facing a busy road, it was quiet and comfortable and I slept very well. My trip was for business and I would not hesitate to book here again if my work brings me back this way. Thanks to Daniel, Sophie, Chelsea and everyone else on the team for my welcome.

The staff make this place.
They are all so lush and friendly and accommodating....can't say enough about them!
The food was great, although the cooked breakfast portion size was a little small, but still delicious.
