    If there is one issue I would change, I would ask for an elevator. There is a ramp to the hotel front door, but after that,you're on your own. Be prepared to walk up and down 3 or 4 flights of stairs from your room to the onsen on the lower floors or to the sauna across the street. The restaurant and bakery on the ground floor are first rate! The room we were in on 3F was adequate. It had all the amenities you'd expect in a 3 star hotel, however the wallpaper on one wall was badly repaired and it showed. This would not stop me from booking a room in this hotel again. The area is beautiful, the atmosphere is great, and the owners are friendly, helpful and English speaking.

    Hotel is really lovely, room is large comparing to lots of other hotel I have been to. Love everything from the hotel. If you are a foreigner and not have your international driver license with you. It can be a bit hard to travel around the area. Especially on the weekend where the buses and trains are not running so often. Beside from that it is a lovely area to immersing yourself with the nature.
