    Stayed here the 1st time and we enjoyed so much that we decided to stay again. The hotel is walking distance from the beach and 5-10mins drive to pantai cenang. Breakfast was great too

    First time to the Aloft and not our last. The Aloft is a short stroll to Pantai Tengah Beach, the hotel provide beach towels and a buggy service to the beach but unfortunately the hotel don't have any sunbeds but you can hire from local vendors. There is a lovely large pool and pool bar for relaxing with plenty of sunbeds at the hotel. Gym was a decent size but could do to have more equipment in it, you can still do a workout though. Our room was large well equipped and had a great seaview, the balcony had chairs, table and beanbags to relax on. Good selection at breakfast although abit chaotic at times, would benefit if they changed the layout on where they put things ie; coffee machine, toaster very close to where people sit causes congestion when people are waiting for coffee and toast. Hotel is close to many restaurants and 5 minute Grab to Pantai Cenang. Great stay and will definitely be returning.

    Its an okay hotel, cleanliness is poor and very questionable. Staff have poor understanding of cleanliness and hygiene. Hair and stains found in room. Housekeeping staff brought new sheets but put it all over themselves prior to putting on new sheets. It clearly shows where the things like hairs and stains were coming from. Unfortunate upkeep of the place is poor. Might be marriot group but certainly feels like a 2star instead of 5star. While prices are 5star but doesn't live up to it. Do not recommend at all
