The sea view room was great and the staff was helpful. I had an issue with background noise in the room due to the chillers at the roof and the staff was quick to provide a room change. Location wise, it’s walkable to the popular Hidden Langkawi cafe where you can chill by the beach.

I arrived much earlier than the official check-in time, and to my surprise, a room was already available. Kaliyah was warm, friendly and welcoming. The following morning, she recognised me at breakfast and proactively checked in on my stay. When I shared some challenges with my assigned room, she took my feedback seriously and kindly offered a room change after checking availability, as some guests were checking out. I truly appreciated her attentiveness and willingness to help. That said, room conditions and maintenance standards vary. While the pricing is relatively budget-friendly, guests should manage their expectations and be prepared for varying levels of consideration from fellow hotel guests. During my stay, I encountered issues such as unflushed toilet in the restaurant washroom and cigarette butts thrown from balconies, which landed on the greenery directly in front of my Level 4 balcony (my initially assigned room). Ultimately, maintaining a pleasant hotel environment is a shared responsibility. The hotel should uphold its facilities and cleanliness standards, while guests should also treat the rooms and shared spaces with care and respect. On a positive note, the hotel offers a good breakfast spread, adding value to the overall experience. Overall, Kaliyah's excellent service was a definite highlight. Her attentiveness and genuine hospitality stood out, although there is room for improvement in the hotel's room maintenance, facilities and overall guest etiquette.
