My husband and I chose The Nkhosi Livingstone Lodge and Spa for our trip, and it turned out to be the highlight of our entire journey. We were so impressed that we ended up extending our stay by two more days—we simply couldn't bear to leave. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this is a place where exceptional attention to detail is the standard. The rooms are genuinely spacious, giving us plenty of room to relax and unwind after long days exploring. The water pressure in the shower was absolutely amazing—a small thing, but it makes such a difference. The bathroom was spotless, with fresh towels provided, and the room was equipped with everything we needed, including a surprisingly large fridge that was perfect for keeping our drinks and snacks cold. What truly sets Nkhosi apart, though, is the thoughtfulness. We found mosquito repellent and room spray provided in the room—a small gesture that shows they genuinely care about their guests' comfort. It is these little touches that make the experience feel effortless. And the peace. The lodge is tucked away from the loud noises and chaos of the city, offering a quiet, serene escape that is still perfectly located for exploring Livingstone and the Falls. Waking up to that stillness each morning was pure magic. The staff were warm, attentive, and always ready to help, and the spa was the perfect way to unwind. Everything—from the grounds to the service—was simply amazing. If you are looking for a romantic, peaceful, and beautifully run retreat in Livingstone, do not hesitate. The Nkhosi is the answer. We will absolutely be back.
