We really enjoyed the overall experience. The kids play area was just enough for thr kids. The swimming pool was large with great views and lastly the rooms themselves were top notch. Recommend staying here if looking for a place to stay on the Pudong side.

We would like to raise our concerns regarding the poor attitude of the Hotel‘s Housekeeping team. As we were here at 11.30 and our intended room is vacant yet to be cleaned the concierge team have informed the housekeeping team to prioritise our room 1612 as we’re have arrived and requested for early check-in. Concierge Manager then mentioned that he cannot assure us of the early check-in and advised us to be back by 2. When we come back at 1.20, we checked with the concierge team, they called the Housekeeping Team and was informed that they are checking on the room. We waited for 20mins went back to us and they are still checking. When it was 2pm, I went to the counter to demand for my room. Concierge called the Housekeeping Team to inform that I demanded for my room and they reprimanded the Concierge Team with poor attitude. I confronted them that. We are supposed to be able to check in by 2pm as per Hotel’s regulations. The Housekeeping Team’s Wangyibin was responsible for the check as per check by the concierge team. The manager and team had to continually call the Housekeeping Team to finally get permission to release our room cards to us at 2.11pm. We understand that the rightful checkin time is 2pm but by delaying the checkin time this is unacceptable and we demand a reasonable explanation why we cannot check in at 2pm! The Housekeeping management don’t seem to be corporative making the check-in experience a bad one.

I was carrying my son rush to Shanghai for 70th Birthday celebration of my father. 4 ppls stayed there including my parents, my son and myself. Hence I put a remark when I made the booking via Agoda to request connecting rooms next to each other and try to see if they are able to arrange some birthday decorations in advance if possible. No emails and no contact to inform me till we shown up in the check-in counter, been told that they didn’t receive any remark or msg from Agoda regarding all my requests. There’s only apartments available on different floors or at least 10 rooms apart on 6/F, all these was completely ruined my original plan wanna stay close with my parents for a birthday surprise. No birthday decorations able to be pre-arranged and we have to wait nearly 30 mins in the lobby for their internal approvals so that they can find a 2nd option to arrange us to an apartment with 2 bedrooms…. BUT I have to pay the room difference…. I don’t know how Agoda operates the booking with this hotel. It was completely wasted our time and ruined our mood with such a disorganized arrangement.
