There’s a nightclub directly underneath the hotel that plays extremely loud music until 6 AM. The walls have no insulation whatsoever. It was impossible to sleep even for a minute. Ruined our Machu Picchu day. The staff is pretty surly and they do not speak any English.

Everything to live about this stay. They were so kind to move me into another room to avoid the noise from the weekend club next door (i didn't even ask). The staff are incredibly kind, helpful. Provided me with some lovely walking routes nearby. Make sure you get up for sunrise and watch it from the 360° view, sunset is great too.
Can't recommend this enough for the price. I returned multiple times and this was the only place i returned too.
If you see the super sweet street dog (she's a black/white mix Collie), show her some love. She's incredibly sweet and i fell in love.
There's a place right across the street to buy food ;)

I keep coming back to Hotel California, the staff are amazing, the rooms have everything you'll need and the views are simply spectacular is really a prefect place to explore the sacred valley. Thankyou

Can't speak highly enough and the hotel and staff. They are wonderful. The rooms have everything you will need, breakfast is good and the views from the restaurant and terrace are 360 and amazing. The staff are so accommodating and always happy to help with hiking suggestions etc. Can't recommend this place enough. If a great place to stay and explore the sacred valley.
